We are indie interluded, a Toronto based indie music blog.

Our passion is music and our goal is to make a site for every indie music fan. A place for all you enthusiastic culture-vultures to discuss, share and discover the very best that the indie music scene has to offer.

Whether you are a highbrow or a hobbyist, a musician or a listener we cater to everyone and in that spirit we’ve created five segments that we hope everybody can enjoy:

Indie Music News:

These are weekly down-lows on all breaking indie music news. We cover everything from album releases, tour announcements, trending stories, and anything other gossip we can get our hands on. Be sure to tune in for these enlightening posts.

Album Reviews:

Giving our take on some of the best new and classic indie albums. Every two weeks one of our writers will break down one of their favourite albums and give you their personal opinions and ratings.

Discographies:

Not sure which indie discography to tackle next? Don’t sweat. Get a glimpse of what you’re in for with our monthly discography sessions. Each month one of our passionate writers will sit down with every album from one of their favourite indie bands, a note pad and a ton of caffeine. The results may be more entertaining than helpful.

Friday Features:

We’re always looking to discover new indie artists and we know you share the same curiosity. Each Friday will feature a different indie artist and tell you who they are, where they’re from, upcoming shows and our favourite tracks. Whether they are up-and-coming or indie music staples, we take a look at who we think are the best in the business and show you why they’re worth a listen.

Live From…:

Toronto has one of the best indie music scenes in the world. From Massey Hall to the Phoenix, we don’t want you missing out. Be sure to check in twice a month for our Live From… segments, where one of our writers head down to a live indie show and report it here. Complete with pictures, videos, their set list and anything they found astounding about the set.
